Whether you’re planning a fashion lookbook, a branded video, a music shoot, or a food production, having the right space can make all the difference. At 69 drops studios in Whitechapel, East London, we offer four fully equipped photography and video studios across more than 6,000 square feet — all under one roof at 77 Greenfield Road, just minutes from Aldgate East and Whitechapel stations.
We’ve recently produced new video tours of each studio so you can see exactly what you’re booking before you arrive. Watch the walkthroughs below, and if any of them look like the right fit for your project, you can book directly through our website.
Studio 1 — Daylight & Kitchen Studio (1,335 sq ft)
Studio 1 is our brightest and most versatile space. At 1,335 sq ft with 3.5m ceilings, it’s a dual-aspect daylight studio with large east and west-facing windows that can also be completely blacked out when needed. It features a 5m-wide infinity cove, a fully equipped modern kitchen ideal for food photography, a make-up and dressing area, and a lounge corner with a Chesterfield sofa and original exposed brickwork. A goods lift from street level makes loading in equipment straightforward. It can also be combined with Studio 2 next door for a total of 2,800 sq ft of space.
Key features: 1,335 sq ft • 5m infinity cove • Full kitchen • Daylight & blackout • Goods lift • Exposed brick & wooden floor • Sonos speaker & superfast WiFi
Studio 2 — Our Largest Studio with L-Shaped Infinity Cove (1,506 sq ft)
Studio 2 is our biggest individual studio at 1,506 sq ft, and it houses our largest infinity cove — a generous 6×7m L-shaped cove that’s particularly well suited to e-commerce shoots and high-volume video productions. West-facing windows provide excellent natural light, but the studio can be fully blacked out if required. It’s finished in a clean all-white style throughout, with a wooden-panelled feature wall available as an alternative backdrop. The makeup and styling area has full-width curtains for privacy, and there’s a backwash basin — ideal for hair shoots. Combined with Studio 1, you’d have a formidable 2,800 sq ft at your disposal.
Key features: 1,506 sq ft • 6×7m L-shaped infinity cove • Whiteout studio • Daylight & blackout • Backwash basin • Wooden panel backdrop • Superfast WiFi & ethernet
Studio 3 — Total Blackout Studio (750 sq ft)
If total control over your lighting environment is essential, Studio 3 is the obvious choice. This 750 sq ft ground-floor studio is painted entirely black — walls, ceiling, and floor — creating a neutral canvas for shoots that depend on precise, self-contained lighting rigs. Ideal for music videos, product photography, and dramatic portrait work, the studio has double doors at street level for easy loading and unloading, and 3.5m ceilings to give your lighting setups room to breathe. It connects directly to Studio 4 via interconnecting doors, giving you the option to expand to a combined 1,600 sq ft when needed.
Key features: 750 sq ft • Total blackout • Black walls, ceiling & floor • Ground floor with double-door loading • 3.5m ceilings • Adjacent to Studio 4 • Hair/makeup station & Sonos speaker
Studio 4 — Compact Infinity Cove Studio (850 sq ft)
Studio 4 is a practical, well-priced option for smaller shoots that still demand a professional environment. At 850 sq ft, it features a 4.2m-wide infinity cove, a corner lifestyle area perfect for interview-style filming and product shoots, and a large curtained make-up and styling area that can be fully screened off for privacy. The windows have blackout blinds, making it straightforward to switch between natural and controlled artificial lighting. As with Studio 3 next door, the two spaces can be opened up together for a combined 1,600 sq ft when your project demands more room.
Key features: 850 sq ft • 4.2m infinity cove • Concrete grey floor • Daylight & blackout • Lifestyle corner area • Full-width curtained makeup area • Adjacent to Studio 3
One Complex, Four Spaces, Endless Possibilities
One of the advantages of 69 drops studios is that all four spaces sit within a single 6,000 sq ft complex. That means you can book multiple studios simultaneously, seamlessly transition between setups on the same day, or use our production team’s knowledge of the building to plan something genuinely ambitious. The complex has been used by brands including Nike, BBC, L’Oréal, Just Eat, TikTok, Burberry, Tesco, and Sony Music — testament to the range of productions it supports.
We’re based in Whitechapel, East London, with Aldgate East just a six-minute walk and Whitechapel station eight minutes away. Street-level access, a goods lift to the first floor, and ample power provision (including three-phase supply in all studios) mean the practical side of a big shoot is well covered.
